Why does ExplainMyBike.com exist?

The first time I had to replace the tire of my bike, I was surprised how difficult it was to find a suitable new bicycle tube and tire. There were a lot of numbers on the tire casing, so I researched what they meant. After some work I had all the info together and was successful, however I didn't want to do the same work again on the next bike tire, having certainly forgotten the details by then. Therefore, I have created this website and hope that it will help you to find the right bicycle tube and tire very quickly and easily in the future.
